Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,429ft):

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel. In the evening, enjoy a trek briefing and traditional Nepali dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Hung Village and hike to Maghu Village (80 km/4-5 hours):

Depart from Kathmandu and drive through scenic countryside, passing lush hills and terraced fields. Arrive at Hung Village, where the trek begins. A short hike leads to Maghu Village, a picturesque settlement offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight in Maghu Village.

Day 3: Trek from Maghu Village to Mangingoth (3,330m/10,925ft) (7km, 3-4 hours):

Begin trekking through dense rhododendron forests and charming rural landscapes. The trail gradually ascends to Mangingoth, a serene resting point with mesmerizing Himalayan views. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the crisp mountain air. Overnight at Mangingoth.

Day 4: Hike to Pake View Point and trek to Thadepati (5km, 3 hours):

Rise early for a short hike to Pake View Point, where a spectacular sunrise over the snow-capped peaks awaits. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, continue trekking to Thadepati, a high-altitude resting place with panoramic mountain vistas. Overnight in Thadepati.

Day 5: Trek from Thadepati to Phedi (8km):

Today’s trek descends through diverse landscapes, crossing alpine meadows and yak pastures. The trail leads to Phedi, a tranquil spot nestled amidst the mountains. Take the evening to relax and enjoy the remote beauty of this high-altitude region. Overnight in Phedi.

Day 6: Trek from Phedi to Gosainkunda (4,380m/14,370ft) (7km):

Ascend towards Surya Kunda Pass (4,620m/15,157ft) before descending to the sacred Gosainkunda Lake, a revered pilgrimage site. The glacial lake, surrounded by rugged peaks, is a place of deep spiritual significance. Spend the evening in the mystical atmosphere of Gosainkunda.

Day 7: Exploration at Gosainkunda and trek to Nau Kunda Valley (camping):

Enjoy a serene morning by the sacred lake before heading towards the Nau Kunda Valley, a hidden gem with pristine natural beauty. Camp under the starlit sky, immersed in the untouched wilderness. Overnight in Nau Kunda Valley.

Day 8: Trek from Nau Kunda Valley via Rauchuli to Maala Bhanjyang:

Descend through remote trails, passing Rauchuli, a scenic viewpoint with spectacular landscapes. Continue towards Maala Bhanjyang, a peaceful spot with stunning sunset views. Overnight in Maala Bhanjyang.

Day 9: Trek from Maala Bhanjyang via Bagmara to Ramti Bazaar (8km):

Continue the descent, passing through the Bagmara forest and traditional villages. Arrive at Ramti Bazaar, a vibrant market town where locals gather. Enjoy interactions with the friendly villagers. Overnight in Ramti Bazaar.

Day 10: Visit Dupcheswar Mahadev Temple and drive to Kathmandu:

Visit Dupcheswar Mahadev Temple, a sacred Hindu site known for its spiritual energy. After exploring the temple, drive back to Kathmandu, where you can enjoy your final evening in Nepal.

Day 11: Final Departure:

After an unforgettable journey, it’s time to bid farewell to Nepal. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight, carrying beautiful memories of the GHANGRI Circuit Trek.
