The hike to Champadevi temple is short one from Kathmandu city which can ideally give one an exposure to the nature. While driving for an hour away from the city of Kathmandu, one will reach the first site of the Pine forest which has a dense vegetation.

The best times for walking to Champadevi can be considered the spring or the autumn time. Autumn season is usually from September to November while spring is usually from March to May.
