The Champadevi day hiking trail is one of the nature walking hiking trails situated in the southwestern of Kirtipur, which is one of the ancient cities in Kathmandu, Nepal. Champadevi hill is situated at the height of 2278m and it is one of the highest hills around the Kathmandu valley It is the third highest hill in the region. This hill is well–known by tourists as one of the prominent places for hiking and religious exploring among the followers of Hindu and Bud-dhist religions. The hike to Champadevi temple is short one from Kathmandu city which can ideally give one an exposure to the nature. While driving for an hour away from the city of Kathmandu, one will reach the first site of the Pine forest which has a dense vegetation.

The best times for walking to Champadevi can be considered the spring or the autumn time. Autumn season is usually from September to November while spring is usually from March to May.
