Day 1: Arrival – Cultural Tour

Our journey in Nepal began with a warm welcome from Getaway Nepal Adventure at the airport. The team was well-organized, ensuring a smooth transfer to our hotel in Kathmandu. After a short rest, we explored the cultural wonders of the city, including the famous Swayambhunath Stupa and Durbar Square. The local guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing insightful stories about Nepal’s rich history and culture. A perfect start to our adventure!

Day 2: Full-Day Cultural Tour

We continued our exploration of Kathmandu with visits to Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Patan Durbar Square. The spiritual atmosphere of these sites left a deep impression on our group. We also had an authentic Nepali lunch, which was a great introduction to the local cuisine. The day was well-paced, allowing us to take in the beauty of these historical landmarks without feeling rushed.

Day 3: Travel to Pokhara

The scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara was a fantastic experience. The well-maintained vehicle and skilled driver made the journey comfortable, and the breathtaking landscapes along the way kept us engaged. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we enjoyed a relaxing evening by Phewa Lake, admiring the reflection of the Annapurna range in the water. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and ideally located.

Day 4: Trek to Ulleri

Our trekking adventure began with a drive to Nayapul, followed by a challenging yet rewarding hike to Ulleri. The guide ensured our group was well-prepared and maintained a steady pace for everyone. The uphill climb was demanding, but the stunning views and the welcoming tea houses made it worthwhile. The food was simple but delicious, and the accommodations were comfortable.

Day 5: Trek to Ghorepani

Today’s trek led us through rhododendron forests, offering stunning scenery along the way. The guide kept the group motivated, sharing local stories and interesting facts about the region. Ghorepani was a highlight, with panoramic mountain views that made the effort worthwhile. The tea house here was cozy, and we enjoyed a warm meal while preparing for the early morning hike to Poon Hill.

Day 6: Visit Poon Hill and Trek to Tadapani

We rose early for the sunrise hike to Poon Hill, and wow, what an unforgettable experience! The sight of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges glowing in the golden sunlight left us in awe. After snapping some amazing photos, we continued our trek to Tadapani, passing through stunning landscapes. The weather was just right, making the trek a real pleasure.

Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk

This was definitely one of the most picturesque days of our journey. The descent to Ghandruk was much easier, and we loved exploring this charming Gurung village. The locals were incredibly welcoming, and we got to learn a bit about their culture. Our accommodation in Ghandruk offered breathtaking mountain views, which made for a wonderfully peaceful evening.

Day 8: Travel to Pokhara – Visit Shiva Temple and Peace Pagoda – Boating Trip

Heading back to Pokhara felt like a well-deserved break after our trek. We explored the Shiva Temple and the World Peace Pagoda, both of which provided stunning views of the valley. The boating trip on Phewa Lake was a lovely way to relax. Our group truly appreciated the perfect mix of adventure and cultural experiences throughout the tour.

Day 9: White Water Rafting Trip – Travel to Chitwan

Rafting on the Trishuli River was an adrenaline-filled adventure! The rafting guides were professional, ensuring safety while making it an exciting experience. Afterward, we continued our journey to Chitwan. The transition from the mountains to the jungle was fascinating, and our jungle lodge provided a comfortable stay.

Day 10: Full-Day Jungle Safari Activities

Chitwan National Park was a major highlight of the trip. The safari experience included a canoe ride, jungle walk, and an exciting jeep safari. We were lucky to spot rhinos, deer, crocodiles, and many bird species. The knowledgeable naturalist guide enhanced the experience by sharing insights about the wildlife. In the evening, we enjoyed a cultural Tharu dance performance, which added a unique touch to our stay.

Day 11: Travel Back to Kathmandu

The journey back to Kathmandu was smooth, with our driver ensuring a safe and comfortable ride. Upon arrival, we had some free time to explore Thamel for shopping and last-minute sightseeing. A farewell dinner organized by Getaway Nepal Adventure was a wonderful way to conclude our Nepal adventure.

Day 12: Departure from Nepal

Saying goodbye to Nepal was not easy after such an unforgettable experience. The airport transfer was seamless, and the Getaway Nepal Adventure team made sure we had everything we needed for a hassle-free departure.
