The schedule for the Rolwaling Valley Trek commences with a picturesque drive from Kathmandu to Jagat. From here, you’ll start your trekking expedition. On the Rolwaling walk path, you will pass through a number of traditional settlements inhabited by the Sherpa, Tamang, and Chhetri indigenous communities. You will also tour Na Gaon, where you will visit a historic monastery where it is said that Buddhist Guru Padma Sambhava meditated for an extended period of time. Exploring the beautiful turquoise Tso Rolpa (4,580m) lake, one of Nepal’s largest pure glacier lakes, is another highlight of this walk.

Throughout the journey, the breathtaking view of snow-capped mountains, including Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Melungtse (7,182 m), Gaurishankar (7,145 m), Melungtse II (7,023 m), etc., will captivate you! This region is one of the most infrequently traveled regions in Nepal, and its teahouses are rudimentary, but the stunning panoramas and distinct culture are among the best experiences you will ever have in Nepal.
